Our Story
On June 19th of 2020, Cicter's Café (pronounced: Sisters) officially opened their mobile café in Buckeye, AZ, serving Caribbean inspired drinks and pastries. Aida Villegas, The founder of Cicter's, dreamed of creating a legacy that would be passed down to her daughters; Catalina, Imena, and Carolyn (CIC).
Aida created more than just a legacy; she created a community. She knew it was important for the community to create a safe place that values creativity and cultural heritage. Cicter's Cafe is a relaxing environment that allows all who enter to feel appreciated.
Cicter's mobile café has served many cities in the West Valley, but their home is in Buckeye, where they opened their first building at the end of 2020. Over the years, Cicter's has partnered with many local businesses and non-profit organizations. Among many accomplishments, they have hosted the first Juneteenth event in Buckeye and were featured in AZ Central news. In 2022, Cicter's closed their building and continued business with their original mobile cafe. In 2023, the Cicter's family grew with Aida's marriage to Steven Sterling. With Steven's knowledge and expertise, Cicter's improved in many ways.
After taking a short break from the business, the coffee shop returned in Buckeye, AZ in August of 2026. Steve & Aida Villegas-Sterling have since taken on an advisory role and passed the torch to their children; Catalina, Imena, Maddux, Carolyn, and Skylar.
Cicter's is now located at 26500 W MC 85 Buckeye, AZ 85326. We look forward to creating new experiences and growing with our community. Stop by and enjoy our Caribbean inspired drinks, community events, and pieces from local artists and vendors in our new home.
